New Section for Model Year Changes

We've been asked a few times about how we are handling new model year announcements and where such posts should land. We have 2 forums for this (old ones for Yamaha 2016 and 2017) and have now created 2 generic ones for 2018 and 2019.

We will begin moving appropriate posts over to these forums today, and will move the two old forums under this new Subsection.

Below is what you will see if you go to the forum section now. Momentarily, the 2016 and 2017 forums will move underneath this as well.

Hopefully this addresses the concerns raised by members on where to find this information.

Feel free to reply here with URLs to threads that you think should be moved under these! Your help would be appreciated.

I think this is just going to make things even harder to find or end up with redundant information being spread around the various subforums. Why have it year specific anyways? Very few items are year specific on these boats and most topics I think apply to a boat regardless of year unless talking about an engine or something. Thug like "my 2019 boat leaks" will get linked to the Moose thread so not really a yearly specific thing. Just my .02

We've had people ask for things both ways, so there is no pleasing everyone. Most people will use Google or the site's search feature to find threads. There are some people who are more into looking at folder structures and will find this easy.

I like it specifically for the latest and upcoming new models coming out. Imagine...a forum for the people, by the people rather than to the people. Who'da thought. Thanks @Julian.

Just checked out the new sections. Looks like you guys did a lot of house cleaning and that was my only biggest fear. Should be easy for you guys to maintain now. Thanks for the new layout and all the work y'all do.
