Hi All! We just pulled the plug on a 2018 AR240. We had a 2004 SX230 for 7 years, but just blown away by the upgrades and improvements throughout the entire line up.

Here's a pic:IMG_7978.JPG

Beautiful boat !! Hope you enjoy for many years. Where do you plan on doing your boating ?

We live in SW Florida and mainly boat in the Gulf or up and down the waterway. The water is nasty right now with the corps of engineers dumping the polluted Okeechobee into the river that dumps into the gulf.

Yeah , I was watching one of the network TV programs about the disaster know as Okeechobee.Had no idea it had gotten that bad ? So sad. Others on this forum will give you valuable , sound advise on mods and maintaining your new boat BUT I would like to recommend that you get rid of that terrible , cheap OE hard plastic bow roller on your trailer soon before it scuffs and mars the gelcoat on the boat. Only takes one launch and landing and you will see ugly marks. Go with a soft poly Stoltz 3.5" ASAP.

Congratulations on the new boat!

The AR240 remains one of my favorite boats in the Yamaha line.

Jim
