Hey guys....first time poster....long time lurker. I have a 2011 AR240. I’ve owned it for about 3 years. 156 hours on the engines and they look almost brand new. Bought the boat from a guy who hardly ever ran it and kept it immaculate condition. This year I just got done doing all the maintenance myself for the first time. (Oil change, spark plugs, etc.). We live in KENNESAW and boat on Lake Allatoona literally every weekend during summer months. I’m actually considering a Florida/Bahamas crossing next year, but we will see......

Excited for boating season!1A076633-3D33-4863-A284-9231C0AE78C6.jpeg72277DAA-A546-48BC-BDE2-426C2CAAEE5E.jpeg

Welcome Aboard! I live in Marietta. I sold my 242 LS this past fall, but kept it at Park Marina when I had it. Going to be depressing summer not having the boat. I hope to have another by next year, and will be back out there again!

Great looking boat! Glad you decided to emerge from the shadows.

welcome! Lake Lanier here.

I'm just south of Woodstock and will be on Allatoona a lot this summer too! Maybe I'll see you out there!

Awesome. We keep our’s in dry storage at Glade. Typically anchor in the red top mountain cove on this side of Bethany bridge, cave cove (we call it that due to the cave that shows itself when they drain the lake) which is the first cove on the other side of Bethany, or a cove to the right of the dam. Way back in there the kids have a big rock they enjoy jumping off of. Hope to see you out there!

Nice. I'll be learning the lake this summer. I feel like I need to be extra careful as they drain the lake. My two boys (7 and 9) camp at Red Top a lot, and we love it there. It's going to be a great summer! I'll watch for you.

Welcome...We are former Kennesaw/Acworth residents, but moved to Lake Oconee four years ago. We moved because we wanted to live on a lake and there was nothing available on Lake Allatoona. We almost ended up at Lake Lanier, but once we visited Lake Oconee it was a no brainer to move there based on location, price, water levels steady year round and the fact that there is much less boat traffic. My wife & I both work remotely, so we were not tied to the Atlanta area for our jobs.

Hey we keep our boat at the navy lake site on Allatoona, We have a blue and white yamaha 242. We are on the water almost every weekend as well. do ya all have kids?

We are also on Allatoona a lot! Red and White 2015 SX190 "Miss Scarlet". We've got two boys 9 and 11. Maybe we'll see you out there. Usually launch at Kellogg Creek...

nice, I’ll keep an eye out . Ours is a blue and white the knot movin although we still have to find a place we want to put the decals. Now that we have a wet slip we are out all the time. Our kids are 12 18 and 19

We are also on Allatoona. We have a slip at Little River. We try to get out at least a couple of times during the week and may chance the weekends from time to time. We are actually getting ready to head that way shortly. Just installed Ride Steady and can't wait to try it out. Shoot me a DM sometime and we'll meet up. I have a 12-year-old son.
