Just thought I would take a second and formally introduce myself. I recently traded my LS2000 for a 2015 AR192 with 8 hours on it. The LS was my first boat so I bought something used that just needed a good clean up and then spent all summer on it. After sticking to my promise of learning to boat with a starter boat I upgraded just a few weeks ago. Sadly I won't be able to take it out for about 6 months since I live in Indiana, but nonetheless I'm very happy with my purchase.

A few items I'm purchasing over the winter include: Thrust vector, clarion M505 with two hardwired remotes, Seadek for the swim platform, a 10" subtube by bazooka and a few wakeboard racks (since oddly it didn't come with any).

If anyone thinks I'm missing anything feel free to speak up and let me know.

I was a member on the "other" forum but this one seems to be a bit more active so I'm wishful that topics find many replies.

Cheers!

Welcome @paratrooper39 and congrats on the upgrade. Your boat looks great. Glad you joined us here in all the fun ;)

Great looking boat. I suggest you get a stoltz bow roller and change the OEM bow roller immediately. The stock roller will mar your black finish on your new gel coat.

@treeskier it also looks like you have some interior LED's, that's something I'm considering as well, I'll have to ping you when I make the jump.

glad to have you on board, update your profile with your location and it will automatically put you on the member map and show on your post ID.

Check out the FAQ section for lots of great tips, there is a section for LED's and also some have upgraded their intercooler on the supercharger to help performance,

Nice boat! Welcome to the best forum on the web.

What part of Indiana are you from? Do you boat at Brooksville or on the Ohio River?

Welcome Aboard and congrats on the upgrade!

@JROD had a career of jumping out of perfectly good airplanes into dangerous territory as well.

@Bruce that's where you're a little bit wrong, I've yet to see a "perfectly good" airframe! Thanks for the warm welcome and the compliment on the boat!

@Volffas I'm on the northeast side of Indianapolis. Last year was my first year as a boat owner so I just stayed on our reservoir, we also have a lift so it was another good reason not to venture out. That being said, I feel like I missed out a bit! I was just in Monticello, KY for work a few weeks ago and saw a tiny part of that huge lake so now I think I want to travel around at least a few times this coming season.

Lake Cumberland is definitely worth the trip. We have several members here that call Lake Cumberland home. We spent a weekend there earlier this year and had a great time.

@paratrooper39, HOOAH! Welcome aboard brother!

Welcome to Jetboaters.net

Just joined a few days ago myself and already find this forum much more informative than the other forum I currently belong.

Our friends have a SX192 ........ a great boat! I'm sure you enjoy it.

Enjoy the site ! ! !

@SimiEd its actually a AR192, but I'm sure I will enjoy it! Just have to wait 5-6 months.... but I did get the dealer to store it for me indoors until then

Welcome. Congrats on both the upgrade to a new boat and the upgrade to a new forum! ;)

Welcome aboard @paratrooper39! Always good to see another Hoosier on the forum, our numbers are really growing.

Welcome aboard paratrooper! We are on the NW side of Indy, but boat down at Patoka Lake in southern Indiana. When you get a chance, have a look at the Shelbyville gathering info. We have been to 4 of them and they are always a blast!
