Welcome!

I'm a former Michigander. Born and raised in the U.P. about 10 miles north of Houghton. First job out of college was working for (what was then) National Steel down in Ecorse. I lived in Farmington Hills during that time.

Welcome aboard. Definitely show some pictures since I like those boats a lot.

That '98 is looking good!! Makes me miss my yellow one!

Thnx! I was extremely surprised to find it. Feel lucky. So far I have found just a few things that need work.....trim tabs , radio that isn't cassette (although it jams pretty damn well) and I have a little midrange bogging problem that suddenly developed. Checking/cleaning carbs tonight and if that's not it then testing stator as several have suggested it's a fairly common issue on this boat.

I had thought about trim tabs on my Sugar Sand, but decided I was good without them.

I think I will mess aroound with manual one that's on it, first. Redistribute weight towards front. It's great with passengers up front but the porpoise effect with 2 people in back is spilling my beer...:D
