Bimini main hoops were bent when I purchased this boat and the material was shot. It was cheaper to put a tower on then replace the Bimini with Yamaha parts. Think it turned out pretty nice.

Looks good! Did you install yourself??

Nice!
For reference can your provide a link to where you procured the tower?

Very nice install for sure. It does not appear to be aftermarket at all.

It’s made by Big Air and the model is Cuda. I caught a sale on either Christmas or New Years and made it worth while. You can find them on Facebook or the web. I’m very impressed with the quality and the support after the sale.

For anyone interested they are running a 25% off pre Memorial Day sale now. Code 25off

2 Follow-ups. How do you cover your boat (does the OEM cover fit)? Does the tower fold (didn’t see anything stated on the big air site)?

I have the oem sx210 grey cover. Had the two flaps on the side for them Bimini modified to fit around the tower. It wasn’t far off and probably would have been fine but wanted that factory like finish. I’m not certain about the AR cover. The tower will fold. Remove 1 Allen bolt on each side and it will fold forward. Mine sits right over the windshield. You could also fold it towards the back of the boat if you took the forward two Allen bolts out. I’m not in a situation to where I need to lower it for storage but went ahead and tested it for reference. Installation took me about 10 hours by myself. My son helped me lift it into place. Could have went quicker but was in no rush and wanted to make sure everything was right. I think 2 people could be done in under 6 hours.

For the guys that already have a tower, big air has some good flag holders as well. Just ordered my self a set to let my Hog flags fly.

quick question.
How did you add bimini to the tower ?
