New Yamaha Owner in Wisconsin

Picked up a nearly new 2016 AR190 on Friday and spent the last three days on the water with my wife and sons, loving every minute. Been around boats most of my life but this is the first I've owned. Kinda a bucket list thing.

In any case, I've been lurking here for the better part of a year and appreciate the wealth of advice ahead of buying. Now if you’ll excuse me I have to follow @haknslash's advice to lower my tower more and get my boat in the garage. You’ve all given me a long list of mods to work on and I need a nice space to work…

Last three days we were on Little Green Lake in central WI as my Dad owns a place there. But we're from western suburbs outside Milwaukee so will mostly trailer to Lake Country area (Pewaukee, Oconomowoc, etc.). Have lots of relatives in Madison so I'm sure will eventually boat there too.

Welcome aboard! I was on Okauchee all weekend, heading out to the Mississippi River south of La Crosse tomorrow. We'll have to try and run into each other on the water sometime.

Absolutely! The oppressors at work are keeping me off the water for a few days but I'll let you know next time I'm going out. Have a great time on the river!

Any lake country destinations you particularly recommend? We mostly pull a tube, ski and wake board but also enjoy a slow drive around the lake to sight see when we need a break.
