Just got approved for a brand new 2018 AR240, space blue. I’ve been lurking around this forum for years hoping I would become one of the club someday. Well it’s here!! Picking her up on Saturday morning! Super excited! No more being jealous of all you folks. I’ve definitely learned a lot about these boats through this forum and can’t wait to possibly meet some of you all. That Bimini fling looks awesome!

Congrats!

Congratulations, now we have to be jealous of you, are in you actually on Key West or another key close by? Will you have to trailer or do you have a lift ?

Thanks! I’m on Little Torch Key right now but will be moving down to Key West at the end of May. I will be trailering but there is a boat ramp right on the base where I will be living.

Key West?

I hate you. Can I borrow your boat when I'm down for vacation? :)

Congrats! Post some pics of her when you can.

Congrats! Pictures of females, we all know if you have a boat in the keys...there is big fun!

Greg, I'm presently in Tavernier until the 31st then 3 weeks in Key West at the Galleon Resort... I keep my boat on Sigsbee and launch from there when it's not in a slip at the resort.

I lived on Little Torch for 2 years then Irma ran us out last September.

When are you moving down to Key West?

Maybe we can meet up.

Mike

I’m going to keep my boat on Sigsbee as well. We will actually be living on Sigsbee in a fifth wheel come June. Yeah, our place fared pretty well after Irma but we rent and are ready to do the full time rv thing. Definitely hit me up. I’ll be passing through tavernier on Saturday morning to pick up my new AR in Key Largo!

If the wind cooperates we'll be out at Pickles Reef spearfishing Saturday morning!

I'll hit you up when we get down to Key West in April.

Yep Riva....we have been boating in Marathon mostly with our last boat. Looking forward to exploring down south a bit more.

If I could give you one piece of advise it would be to get that hard plastic bow roller off that trailer ASAP and replace with a premium Stoltz 4" before you scare the gel coat on that beauty. I put a blemish on mine with one launch and retrieval. That OE roller is garbage.

Just picked her up today!! Going out tomorrow morning to burn some fuel!
Nice! Congrats! Good times!

My 0.02 - give the hull a good coat of premium/cleaner wax, while brand new. You will be amazed how thirsty that gelcoat is on these new yammies.
