Hello. New owner & forum member here. We just purchased a 2017 Yamaha AR195 this weekend from the boat show in Oshkosh, WI. We pick it up in two weeks. Our family got into boating about 2 years ago when we picked up a 1991 VIP SK18 fish & ski. It was in rough shape, but we spent a winter restoring it. I grew up around boats doing tons of fishing and watersking. But this was our fist boat to 'test the waters' and see if we were going to be a boating family. We found that to absolutely be the case. But with two growing boys, we found that we needed a larger boat rather quickly. We loved our VIP, but are super excited to pick up our new Yamaha.

Will post pics when we pick it up.

Congrats and welcome to the forum!

Congrats! Your gonna love it! I was able to put 10 hours on mine before I winterized it, but I'm still a newbie. Can't wait for spring to get back on it. What color did you go with?

Welcome aboard fellow Wisconsinite!

Welcome to the party from a flatlander.

Congrats on your boat and welcome to the forum.

Welcome @viper15 and congrats on the new boat.

@viper15 - Congratulations on the new boat. The boys will love it!!

If there is anything we love better than convincing you to spend your money, its pictures of everyone enjoying the boat. Please share the smiles!!
Hope ya'll have a great summer with the new toy!!

Welcome aboard - from a few miles south

Congrats! Bought our left over 2014 from that show last year. Shipyard or Winnebagoland? Where do you boat? We are on Bago or up in Marinette County for the most part. If you see a black AR190 flying old glory and blue line flags thats us! Enjoy!

Went through Winnebagoland. We run in the north woods quite a bit. We like Lake Tomahawk and run a lot on Lake Holcomb near Ladysmith as our family has a place there. Super excited to pick up the boat. But I still have one last snowmobile run in me for this weekend.

Welcome aboard to you too @N140 !

Thanks @RiverRat ! I have been lurking for over a year now. You guys are the first members I have seen from WI. Btw, I love that trailer you have under your 192!

@N140 thanks! Factory shorelandr trailer, but I needed a spare so I ordered two aluminum rims with radials so I now have two. I went through recstuff.com. They're out of Hartford WI so shipping was pretty cheap and quick.

Really dresses it up! May have to look in to that.

Make sure you get a spare tire cover too!IMG_0791.JPG
