Newbie from Wisconsin looking for Chaparral Vortex feedback

New to the forum and also here to find a group of people that have first had knowledge of the Jet boat. I am currently looking at a Chaparral Vortex 223 and hoping to find some others that have made that choice as I was very impressed with what I saw last weekend at a local dealer.

I've recently moved from Port Washington, Wi to the Tampa area....
The water is much warmer down here

You might want to modify the title of the post to put in something like "Need Chaparral Feedback". There is a "Thread Tools" drop down in the upper right of the first post that allows the author to change the title. If you can't find it, ping me and I can modify it to anything you'd like.

I looked at the Chaparrals prior to buying the Yamaha. We were very impressed with the interior of the Chaparrals but for the price difference we just could not justify the extra cost.

We are in the Rockford area and boat at Lake Geneva quite frequently. Even though you are looking at Chap's, if you want a ride on a Yami 2015 242 LS, we would be happy to take you out. As a matter of fact, there is a cool video on Youtube, named "Submove Lake Geneva", from several years ago of @buckbuck doing a submove with his wife, both of his daughters and I at the bow and @007 on the camera with the laugh. Skip to 1 minute. The first minute was just warm ups.
