I purchased my 2015 AR192 last year and made a few stereo upgrades last season. Upgraded the head unit, swapped out the 4 speakers to DB652's, added tower speakers and added two amps. If you look at the pictures, I have all speakers wired in series at 4 ohms. At full throttle, I can hear it but barely. I'm looking to see what my next upgrade should be. I'm not really ready to start cutting on the fiberglass to add a sub. I have a few ideas but wanted to consult the experts. Looking for good overall sound and just a bit louder so I can hear while driving at full throttle. Attached a pic of what I currently have. Suggestions for about a $500 budget?
Ideas:
1. Thinking about rewiring the Rockford amp and 4 inside speakers for 2 ohms so I can get the full 100W but not sure if that's a good idea. I know I'd lose my fader and balance but those aren't a big deal to me.
2. Thought about adding a self powered sub like a bazooka so I don't have to use yet another amp since I'm currently using all 6 channels. Would I need to install a vent to make the sub sound good?
3. Looked at the Rockville 8 channel amp but not sure if that gives me a boost.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
