Well, the forecast looks great for the weekend - 80 to 90 degrees and sunny, but the smoke has covered the blue skies. Might be staying in this weekend. Many thanks and prayers for the firefighters that are working hard to get it under control. The first pic is of all of the fires surrounding Spokane/Coeur d'Alene. The second is a pic of a 'sunny' day from the local newspaper.

My prayers are with you....we were up in Spokane early this year, beautiful place. I hate the thought of it being ravaged by fire.
It was heart breaking to hear of the loss of those firefighters and injuries to others.

We sure do have to come up with a plan to handle these disasters better.
