The Bimini trip has been going on for a few years now... I think it is time to knock it up a notch! I say in 2017 jetboaters.net should put together a Bermuda run!... the group could leave from north carolina and head straight there.... or course EVERYONE will need to take extra fuel with them... but it would be a quick 665 mile run across the open ocean to get there!! Should take ... what? Three days on the open ocean to get there.... (the stripped boat hull each boat will need to pull like a trailer to hold all the extra fuel will slow time the crossing times!)

I'm thinking Cuba. Only 90 miles. Go over light, fill up with Cuban cigars for the return trip or trade your boat for a 55 Chevy.

Getting that 55 chevy back though....
Ever watch the amphibious vehicle challenge on top gear? (The british guys not the american blokes)

According to Alaskan Bush People you can build a barge out of scrap to bring your Chevy back. Although I am not sure how well it fare after the salt water exposure.

Just spray it off when u get back! That's all!.

I was thinking a nice cruise to Portugal would be good. I was thinking we could convert all the boats to solar. Then we just need food and water for the several month trip.

Go big or go home.

Ah I got all excited when I opened this post I thought someone was going to propose a Panama Canal trip where we start in Texas run the coast of the Gulf down and around cross the Canal and come back up the west coast and ship the boats back. Well I guess I can still day dream. I really want to do Lake Powell so trying to decide if its Bimini 2017 for me or Lake Powell 2017. Unless someone on the West Coasts wants to trade and run me around Lake Powell for a few day and I will run them to Bimini then I get both and one of the West Coast guys gets both as well :winkingthumbsup".

I'll propose that same trade for Havasu!

I figured, if you get to the Exuma chain, just keep island hopping until you get to Turks and Caicos. That's a feasible trip.

I thought @scopeusa would let us stay at his place for free :)

I had always wanted to go crabbing in the Bering Sea with the big boys. Maybe now is my chance. The only thing holding me back now is the drive across country with the boat

Just kite sail most of the way. Arrive with a nearly full tank of gas.

Tried this with a good sized parasail. If there is a current, good luck! Just need a bigger kite i guess, lol!

It would be a retirement trip, but I have dreamt about boating down the Mississippi river. All the way to the gulf, then around the tip of florida in time to meet the Bimini group!
