Went out for ride, didn’t get very far from dock when I kicked on the bilge pump to pump some rain water out, and I didn’t see any water coming out, from pee holes or bilge. Used boat about 2 weeks ago and everything was fine, only changes made to boat was new battery put in. Didn’t go long enough to get overheat lights.
I have an SX230 08, how do I correct the issue.

I punched it and nothing came out. The brown stain coming out of one pictured wasn’t there last time.

Did u flush it last time? I hope a passage is not corroded closed. Salt water?

No salt water usage

Sometimes you could get something in the pump that clogs the little hole that feeds the cooling lines.

How about the other two holes forward of those, did you see water from them? I assume that when you say "went out for a ride, didn't get very far from dock" you did not run it long enough to get on plane, higher rpm's than no wake. Mine takes higher rpm's before I see a stream. I have had issues with mud dobber wasps plugging the holes, but yours look unobstructed in the picture. Mine were sealed with mud and whatever they laid in there, level with the hole in the thru hull and easily seen both times. The stain is interesting, but not unheard of. I have had staining, but not like that. The system is supposed to be self draining, but there could be places that trap water and grow all kinds of nasty stuff in a week. If the engines ran fine, you should be good to go. I would first check for viscosity of the stain to rule out internal issues and then check the oil for signs of water. Also check the intake screens for a blockage. You most likely had dirty water in the lines and did not go fast enough to blow it out. Good Luck.

I would run some weedeater line down the holes to see if it was clogged by a mud dobber or another bug. You might also check the lines for leaks.

@JBRyan the bilge pump not working is likely a ground wire not put back on the new battery when you changed it. You can test the pee holes on the trailer while running on the hose. After starting turn on the water then put the engine in "no wake" mode. You should see water from the pee hole in 30 - 45 seconds. If no water push some string trimmer line into the pee hole for the running engine. In the 2 weeks you didn't use the boat you likely got some mud robbers in there. Use the same process on the other engine. The high speed pee holes will need to be done while on the water.

I second the Mud robbers effect too. Likely the pee holes are plugged by something.
