Not a bad option for dead batteries

Still need to see price, but basically a permanent jump pack, that will always stay charged. I could see it being pretty useful for boaters.

Functionally, it's not any different than a second battery with an ACR, except the acr setup will be cheaper and youd use that battery for starting all the time.

Appears to be a significantly overpriced ($1100.00) mid ah, high c rate lithium battery with built in charging/bms board that has bluetooth built in. One could simply attach a usb charger to the switched side of the start battery and mount a noco gb70 with the aligator clips swapped for ring terminals attached to the batteries amd a bluetooth battery monitor for far less. Personally charging the portable jump pack at least twice a year is not a big deal for me. I would buy a lithium battery to replace both the start and house batteries along with bluetooth battery monitor before buying this for that kind of money.

I agree with just hard wiring a kit... however this unit is not $1100 - that is a video system in the article.
