I have been looking at them for six months and finally pulled the trigger.

Went with Bennett 12 x 9 with BCI8000 electric controls with display & auto retract(need to find the correct wire...anyone?)

Glad to report that everything is working well !

Should be the purple wire on either one of your ignition switches.

I wired it to the yellow stripe wire per wiring diagram i found online... don't see purple here? I guess I need to look again

Maybe things have changed, my 2007 Yamaha and my 2016 Cobalt uses a purple wire for ignition on/off.

Nice setup, I am so glad I added them to my boat and you probably will too.

Great, great footage of the boat running! Those tabs will be amazing in chop and big water. Man, do you guys know how to shoot great video!!!

Hope those retract enough for surfing, especially with that down taper. Keep us posted.

Boat rides best without them! But, they will be useful to level the boat when passengers don't cooperate and I am curious to know if they really do cure the steering pull issue these boats have when running in windy conditions.

at the retracted position it rides same as ones without. but it grabs a lot more on turns vs without tabs. my turns are sharper and more controlled vs sliding rear end out feel.

Have you been in chop yet? Does it stop the pourpoising?

Nice setup and how much were they if you don't mind me asking?

If you look towards the end of the video i intentionally cross the boats wake to see how it handles and it cuts through like butter.

I got a good deal...about $530 or so

I should have pumped in 3k lbs of ballast for a better test. ;)

so what's the benefit here? Handles chop better?

Cuts through choppy water vs slamming you up and down

Yea I'm going. What time y'all heading up?

for those looking for this auto-retract feature...its the WHITE wire on the ignition harness.

Can you provide a picture of how the install looks from back/under the transom. Thank you so much

Yes, you can use them to fix the pull problem in windy situations. You just drop the one on the opposite side where the wind is blowing. Most of the time I don't have to steer the boat with the wheel. I just make small adjustments with the tabs. I also have cobra fins.
