Just curious about when members across the country consider their boating season over.
For me the end of the boating season is signaled by when my kid goes back to school (just before Labor Day) and is usually over with the boat prepped for long term storage by the end of September. However, we are supposed to have a mini heat wave here in NCal this weekend so it looks like my boating season will be officially over on October 2nd even though day times highs are normally in the 80s through the month.

I think our last run will either be October 14th or the 21st. October 14th is a poker run at Lake of the Ozarks, and we may go out to the family farm for the 21st so that is up in the air.

End of October is when we put it in the garage for the winter.

Any winter weekend day that it is dry, sunny, and over 60 degrees is a lake day. If we miss a few weeks, I will drop the threshold to 50 degrees.

We're going out this weekend for a bit. No docks after oct 1 so anything after that you're getting wet.

It’s going to be 82 today....headed out on the river at noon!

My season never ends, thats what sweatshirts are for when its colder
Just no swimming in the winter

One more family trip to Lake Of the Ozarks planned for October!

it was a good year. longest boating season for us, by far up here. Boating well into the school year, not the norm.

I can see the sun from my office window... putting her in the garage this weekend as the rain is coming... enjoy it while you can..

Well - I still plan on going out Christmas Day and New Years.

Will be fishing here near the mountains of SC, in December from the SX230. Have heated storage though for when off the lake.

Do you have more info on that? Is it kids/family friendly?

And to the OP - I boat in the river as long as there is not ice/freezing temps. Love it actually - usually no one around and very peaceful!

Here you go @swatski . It can be family friendly, but we are not taking our kids. We are using this as an adult weekend with the people we are staying with.

We’ll be on Beaver Lake at least through the end of October in Northwest Arkansas

probably right after the lateral thrusters get installed and tested

I'm planning on leaving it in for another month, Indian summer here right now.

Here’s from yesterday....mid 80’s before we switched to several days of clouds and rain.
