Object in oil resouvior

While I was changing my oil on one of my two 2017 VR deluxe a small hard plastic nipple came off inside the resiovor. I am unable to see it nor get it out. Will this cause me serious damage if I fill it back up with oil and try to start it up? Not sure what to do and beginning of summer all the shops are booked up for awhile.. Has anything like this happened to anybody else. Sounds like a stupid question just a lil bummed about my situation

Is the dipstick in the oil cooler or in the engine block?

With the dipstick in oil cooler, removing a foreign object is easy. With your motor, I think there could be damage if object is not removed. Both of those members are very familiar with jet skis.

Yea I can see the object right near the dip stick so im assuming its further down? What will I have to remove in order to get to the lower section of tank?

Hey one other question , I changed the oil on the other jet ski, and the check engine light is on? Is there a way to reset the light?

Can you reach it with a long needle nose pliers?

Unfortunately not, hole is so small pliers won't open and the hardest part is your fishing blind because not a big opening or angle to see while something is in there

Can you modify a shop vac nozzle with a small diameter tip?

Becuase the tank goes in a hole and down a curved tunnel it feels like seems unlikely I would need a bigger suction then the hole permits, but I like that idea

This looks like a TR-1 oil change question. I believe @drewkaree has a Ph.D. degree in the field of TR-1 oil-ology, he might figure this out, it's a puzzler!

If the oil tube goes down near the bottom of the pan, you may be below and moving parts, but I would still try to remove it. Maybe the pan has a plug in bottom where it can be flushed out.
