I'm putting in an amp and need to either extend my existing speaker wires or extend them. Anyone know what gauge they are?

Gracias

They are standard speaker wire, I believe it is 16 AWG.

I ordered 16 gauge wire but it seems much thicker than my stock speaker wire. Definitely thicker than the speaker output wire on the clarion xc1410.
