I have the VHF 160 and like it but it goes on sale for $99 once per year. I think the coastal inflatables are still on sale at a decent price. They have the ring so you can hook up your safety lanyard for taking the boat out by yourself.
 
Glad to hear you like it. . Vhf160 is "on sale" for 129.99 looks like the best option for me at the moment.
 
Yep, thats is one of the ones we have... Like the fact it floats!

The weather alert on those is pretty crazy...you will think you are getting pulled over the first time you hear it. Great for in close communication for raft ups, docking, etc.
 
Tell them you know a guy that got if for $99. They can hook you up sometimes.

West Marine is as high as a cat's back....They are close and are emergency purchase only. I also have a Bass Pro within a few miles.
 
I agree @scokill . . . . But its my fault for waiting til the day the weekend kicks off.
 
I am shocked no one took a stab at the tab.
 
It is bad luck to guess at the total at West Marine, you might see something else you want.
