Oil Change / Winterization

So I have always done an oil change at the end of the season. Now that I have my boat in the Marina (dry storage) I take it out about once a month regardless so it never really gets winterized or "stored" for the winter. Question, when to change the oil? My 2016 AR240 is new so I had the 20 hour service done last year at the end of summer and stored the boat right after (this was before I put it into the marina) this year I am due my 50 hour but at driving once a month wont be at 50 hours until about spring. Suggestions? I could pull it and do it my self now or just keep driving it and then do the 50 hour for the next season in spring. There is about 20 hours on the oil in it now.

I would change it once a year at the minimum or at 50 hours if you put in more than 50 a year.

Since you're using it on a consistent basis, I'm in agreement with @jetboater4life ... pick a convenient time of the year to do it and do it annually. Most of us usually do it in the fall so that any deposits in the dirty oil don't sit in the engines all winter.

For the last 5 years I've changed my oil in the fall. This year I was all set to change my oil and realized I forgot to buy oil filters. So I changed my oil but not the filters. I plan to change the oil and the oil filters in the spring. I'm not too upset about this because we can't get all the oil out of our engines with a typical change. Doing it twice will ensure I get a lot more of the clean stuff in the engine next year.
