Video - New video by Roy C. Dalsace

Part numbers - 2003 Yamaha SR230 (SRT1000B) Generator | Babbitts Yamaha Parts House

Camera used - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C4V4FJC8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

So if you look at the part numbers I believe the hanging dripping thing in the video could be the O-ring #16 for the flywheel cover. In other years/models, I have seen that gasket listed as part #14 and called Packing, instead of O-ring. Maybe it somehow deteriorated and made its way through the starter hole.

Just curious if anyone else has experienced this. Looks like pulling the engine is the only way to fix it.

Thanks for looking!

First time I've seen that. The oil coolers in newer models had a problem with missing and/or broken bolts.
