I was laughing to myself because usually you get the random post of someone digging out a big chunk of silicone from their new boat!
I have had a really hard time with my clean out plugs ever since i bought the boat.
I did the rebuild kit and that helped a good bit. Still hard to get in and out!
Yesterday i really went in there with a wire brush cleaning the ports up and then took a short flat screwdrivee to clean up the holes for the dogs. Found this in them:

Silicone blobs i have been pushing against all these years!
We had fun yesterday though. Cleaned up the plugs, changed the oil, my wife washed both trucks, redid my tower mounts, pulled out my moldy sub boxes i was so proud of, and my BIL @ZIRB3L even came and did some welding for a new set of fenders for his traier.
Lots to do yet and it just keeps raining!

Wow! I am impressed! I have trouble getting my wife to even go to the boat (she doesn't like how bumpy it is on our choppy lake), no less wash anything, no less start pulling tower mounts and mold? No chance.

I think you have a keeper.
