Yeah, been following the story. So many missing pieces of the puzzle. I'll be curious what the investigation finds because right now.....

If the other boat didn't have navigation lights on, I wouldn't be surprised. For those who don't boat a lot at night, especially in really dark areas - its unconscionably dangerous. I ran up on a boat once that was running without lights, and the only reason I knew was because of their wake. If they had been at no-wake speed, I very well could have run right over their transom - and this is with a sober and super attentive driver, and my wife up front keeping an extra eye out.
