ON THE WATER! Kenwood KMR 555U pandora issue

Okay, all of a sudden I can't pandora to work. It's doesn't pull up as a source option on the radio nor when I select pandora app will it play theu the radio.

It had been playing. I got a text message and now... Nothing.

Thoughts?

I had same radio....have you updated the software? I would say cut off the power source, at battery, and bring radio back up. May need a reboot.

Is the Pandora option not showing at all? like Aux etc

Sounds to me like the text message interrupted your phone's outgoing music stream. I'd reboot your phone and see if it relinks and works.

I agree with @Julian , sounds like the stream was interrupted. Shut it down and restart it..

Back on land and while the cord might be an issue, I did try rebooting my iPhone, reloading the app and on/off the radio.

Pandora and I Heart are not showig as options on the radios screen as it has in the past.

Latitude-there's a way to update the software on the radio? (Or did you mean the phone..)

yes on the radio there are firmware updates....I had problems with mine and the firmware was needing a patch. They do this is the off seasons to get fewer problem calls....sometimes the app is updated first and causes chaos....... use a flash drive

If it does not reset with firmware....There may be a reset button behind radio or face. Pic is Kenwood in general but gives you an idea. Hope this works!

almost forgot to follow up! I summerized the boat last week and the radio is now functioning correctly. Thank you all for your help last Fall!
