Padded Ladder Rungs

Anyone replace or improve the rungs on your ladder(s) ? Kind of hard on my feet. I have arthritis. Looking to add some padding that won’t interefere with the stowage. TIA

I usually wear water shoes. They help. I am in the process of replacing my current 7 YO shoes from Dicks, with these. Moku Pae Men's Boat Shoes - Trench Blue / Off White | OluKai

A lot of clam shells that will slice you good if you don't pay attention around here.

Neighbor put pool noodles around his ladder rungs to help his dog climb on board. I've been up it a few times with bare feet and it's not bad. Little sketchy in that the noodles seem to like to rotate, but it wasn't a big deal for me. They've gotten used to it as well.
