For pulling a parasail, would one use the wakeboard tower or the transom eye bolts (commonly used as the trailer tie downs)?

Also, any recommendations for parasail manufacturers or models?

I don't think we've had any members use their boat to parasail before, keep us posted!

There was some one at one point selling his paresail he was using on his Yamaha. Without knowing anything at all... if you are not supposed to tube from the tower, I would error on the tow hook!

Yea it was @RLG2 who did it and was selling his parasail. He mentioned to use the tow hook or best would be triangulate a rig system using the tie down hoops and a bow line. He said you want it central on the boat in this thread PARASAIL FOR SALE

Why is it suggested not to tube from tower attachment?

Tower manufacturer's warning. Tubes cause a lot of drag and the stress on the tower is greater, especially with the big tubes. If a tube flips and suddenly fills with water then it just became the largest anchor you ever threw out at speed. A guy on the Mastercraft forum had that same scenario happen and it broke his tower tow point. There are people on here and around the globe who do it regardless so people can get air on the tube but the tower is not designed for tubing. For me I will stick to the tow ring for tubes.

I believe the tower is rated at 350lbs and they definitely say not to tube from them...always for safety tube from the lower tow hook.
