Hi All,

The bimini on my 2016 E-Series has a rip from a fallen branch and I am looking to replace it with a black one (mine was a tan color). Does anyone know the part number for the 2016 or 2017 black bimini?

Thanks!

I think you need both of item 1 https://www.yamahapartshouse.com/oemparts/a/yam/5626447d87a86602c84a2f13/bimini-top-carpet

Depending on the size of the rip it may be worth it to shop a local place to repair it.

What are the two parts? The strap and the actual canvas? The canvas is all one piece. If the other part is the strap, I could probably just use the existing one. There really isn't anyone local who does canvas plus it will look like crap with a big patch in it. It was my neighbors tree branch that fell on it so I am trying to have him split the cost with me :winkingthumbsup"

If the tree branch was dead wood, he should be giving you some money. If the branch was alive, in some places it will be considered an "act of God", gets more complicated.
Looking at the price, you would think these canvas are encrusted with gold.

No idea. It just says one is DR and the other is SC. Mine goes for $375 and it's nowhere near as large as the massive E series Bimini.

That is just the two colors...

This is what you want if you want the black color:

Canopy, Canvas BLACK F3F-U318C-10-00

If you look for 2016 replacement parts it will give you F3F-U318C-20-00 which is TAN and F3F-U318C-10-00 which is CHARCOAL, NOT BLACK. In 2016 they made tan canopies for The black/white Limited s e-series and charcoal for the red/black one. In order to find a true black you need to look for the 2017 models which gives you F3F-U318C-10-00 for CHARCOAL and F3F-U318C-00-00 for true BLACK because they didn't offer the tan in 2017. I made this mistake and ended up with the charcoal but I'm actually quite pleased with how it complements the black/white boat. IMG_5998.JPGIMG_5999.JPG

The part number I put in is for the black cover that is offered on the 2016 242x...
I don't think yours is a true black either. I belive it's charcoal as well similar to the picture I shared if I'm not mistaken, right?

OK, so just to clarify - there is no true black in 2016 OR 2017? Only charcoal gray or tan?

2016 offered a charcoal, 2017 offered a true black. Both are the same size so you can get any color for '16 or '17

Here is what I found on the Yamaha boats page for 2017 models, looks grey to me....2018 has a true black, but also has a zippered sunroof in it, so not sure the shape is the same.

I'm can't validate 100% but I'm pretty sure the 2017 non-x series offered a true black top, not charcoal. Either way, when I pull up part numbers online there are two models for 2016 canvas colors (tan and charcoal) but for 2017 they offer a charcoal, not a tan, and one other which I can only assume is true black. I can't find a good photo to see for sure though. IMG_6003.JPG

OMG!! :banghead::banghead::banghead: I jus realized that they offered a white on white model in 2017 with a white canvas. The other color I couldnt figure out must be the white one, not a true black. Now I realize that there is only the charcoal/gray and not a "true black". Sorry for all the confusion. For the original poster who was looking for the black/charcoal/gray/whatever the hell we call it the part number should be F3F-U318C-10-00. Sorry again for all the confusion.:confused:
