With the weather still in the 70's my family is planning on watching this show from the beach at Ft. McRee.

The warm weather is killing my hunting season but at least I can take the boat out! [flag]

Any other takers?

Is that a different location from the July show? This is on my list of to dos for sure.

@brockhals - it's in the same general area. The July show is on the beach - "Pensacola Beach", whereas the November show is at the air strip at NAS.

See the pic I attached. I plan on being on the left side of the pass at Ft. McRee/Perdido Key

Gotcha. We're going to try and head over, but the water forecast doesn't look good. 3-4' surf with 6' possible.

For me it would definitely depend on surf...but however my wife had suggested going this weekend with the boys to watch the show...but on a side note what launch would y'all use

For the last three years we've been launching from the ramp at Wolf Bay. Where the old restaurant used to be off of CR 20. We've tried other places but this ramp is our favorite.

Fyi - it cost $10 to launch.

Won't be going this weekend unfortunately. But will definitely be going again for the July 2018 show.

@brockhals not sure where you launch from, but if you take the Gulf to the Destin Pass, then cut in and go the rest of the way through the ICW. Much much smoother ride.

Looks like Mother Nature has thwarted my late season boating plans.
Oh well.... maybe next time.

ya that was my plan. Forecast showed choppy conditions so we didn't make it out...then saw pretty smooth water all day :(
