I have a 2019 AR240 and going to get the perfect pass. Has anyone mounted the round hole or panel mount display versus the RAM mount? Wanted to see how it looked or issues cutting into that plastic dash piece and what they used to cut it.

I installed a RideSteady in the dash of my 2019 AR195. Below is a picture that might give you an idea for your boat.

Cutting the hole in the dash was the most difficult part of the job, mostly because I knew damaging the console would probably cost a lot of downtime to get a replacement! I used a Dremel and went real slow, but it worked out fine. Another member here (I can’t remember who) had a cleaner way of drilling this hole than I did.

In the end I like having it in the console because it’s right at my fingertips but stays out of the way.

That looks really nice. Like it was there factory. I am thinking a fine tooth hole saw and just tape off the plastic.
