Pet boat ladder?

I am curios how everyone handles getting their dogs back in the boat after swimming in the water? We have a 75lb yellow lab who has a life vest with handle but I am wondering how everyone gets their larger pets back in the boat. Mine loves to play fetch jumping off the boat but has issues getting back on the swim platform without my help.

I no longer have a dog. Loved my little Lilly but she hated the water. She was more of a cat sleeping in the sun.

We tried one that is metal and attaches to the ladder and it just did not work. Spent more $$ on this one, but absolutely love it. Dog took to it in no time and now with it, he can swim all day and climb in on his own. leaves the ladder free for people to use also, which is nice. http://www.dogonwaterramp.com/
