Posted this in "bargains" thread but thought I'd cross post here in case some folks don't follow/notice that one...

Got an email from Polk Audio - 50% off with coupon: POLKFF03EF9A2BD at www.polkaudio.com but limited in quantity for each code so it may not work for everyone - still should be easy to find or sign up for email and get. Yeah, it works on marine speakers.

Note: saw same price on Amazon too - MM651UM for $139 a pair http://tinyurl.com/qf2ru4e, but for the DB651 speakers, Polk wins. I know there is much debate Polk/JL/Wetsounds but at THAT price...!

I'm still finalizing the deal on my boat but just may have to jump on this one in any case.

$139 has been the street price for the Polk 651UM as long as I can remember. And that is a lot of speaker for that price. For comparison, since the JL's were raised in this thread, within a system package you can get the JL Audio MX650s for $20 more per pair.
