Port engine and ride steady

after installing the ride steady i keep getting the check port engine light and buzzer. Is anyone else having the same issue after installing ride steady?

Be aware that it takes quite some time for some of those engine codes to clear. So lets say you had the power on or turned the power on when installing the ride steady system but not complete it is possible that would throw a code that would take a bit to reset. I would double check that all connections are fully engaged including the taps behind the helm.
