Can someone help??? I have a 2012 AR210, After a few hrs on the lake tubing and skiing my portside motor suddenly turned off, no indication of overheating or any issues prior to. i turned the engine off and it started right back up with no problems. On the way back to the dock it did this about 3 more times and was onlt running 20-25mph... Can anyone give me suggestions on where to look or what will cause this issue, thanks in advance

The first thing to check is the clean out tray hatch. There are cuttoff buttons under the hatch that can be adjusted so they press on the underside of the hatch....if they are loose and have jiggled down, then the hatch can bounce off the button triggering a engine cuttoff.

Ok thanks. I will check that first thing, if that isn't the problem what else could it be.

Would a that only trigger one engine to shut off or both?
I ask bc a friend is having issues with one of his engines shutting off on his 275 SE while accelerating.

it could be just one or both. There should be an adjustment on them to allow them to stick up a little more to make sure they are fully depressed. At least that is the way my older 2010 212x works.

I've had low oil cause an engine to shut down but I believe that threw a code at me. Sometimes they are hard to see in the sunlight, at least mine are.

Thx. Will give that a try!

Just had this issue with my 190. Hatch wasnt latched and when i hit waves just right the switch would momentarily activate causing the motor to stop.

Had the same issue a year ago it would only kill one engine.
