Hey guys,

I’ve been looking for awhile and I’ve found something that has caught my eye. What do y’all think about the boat in the link?

Anything I should be looking for?

Sorry, I'm not well versed in the 09's, assuming it has the twin MR-1 engines, those are proven motors. I know someone will chime in who knows about them.

Been used in salt water?

Check the impeller for damage - when I bought my 2013 AR190, I had to immediately replace the impeller. It was only evident when trying to pull up a skiier unfortunately so a basic water test would not have helped. It's easy enough to inspect (search the threads).
Also ask if the timing chain has been replaced or not (they likely will answer no unless the engine was replaced due to timing chain failure). The 2012 should still have the old timing chain design on them so that is a risk if it has not already been upgraded to the new, wider model.

I had that exact boat for several years - still admire the lines and that blue hull color! The twin 110hp MR1's top out about 45 mph but get 3 mpg+ at most cruise speeds. Do you know the hours on each engine?
It looks a little beat, which is expected... I recall those silver sections of the upholstery being low quality and getting extraordinarily hot in the sun.
Common issue on the older boats is poor jet drive tunnel sealing (repairable) and worn impellers (as mentioned). Any cavitation on a test drive would indicate this issue and can also lead to overheating. These motors also foul plugs relatively quickly, so most poor running is fixed with a quick tuneup!

110&112 hours on the motors. Fresh water boat. Doesn’t come with any covers. They are getting me better interior pictures right now.

Fresh water? In Clear Lake? Not saying it isn't possible, but I would be skeptical. Inspect carefully for evidence of salt or corrosion.

Where would be the best spots to find obvious signs of salt water corrosion?

There I will need to defer to others. I would guess that you could look for salt crystals in the engine compartment and in the cleanout tray (under it). Probably in the corners... Anyone?

I just live near Clear Lake--it is on the gulf coast. There are no fresh water lakes nearby. Brackish at best. So they could have hauled the boat every time. I would just be surprised...

It’s easy for a dealer to acid wash/polish/wax the gel coat to look like new. But this pic says salt to me or that the previous wasn’t as meticulous about cleaning like some. Maybe they took care of the mechanicals better.

Oh, its at a dealer. I thought it was individual. Still, extra checking would be warranted. Likely they bought it from someone down there, rather than having it shipped in from one of their other dealerships...

10 years old with 110 hours..... this has more 'damage' and wear from sitting than from use. So, if it was used in saltwater and not cleaned or flushed properly, it could be a time bomb, just my thoughts.

Probably nothing but the rims on the trailer differ, at least on the one side. Maybe poke around the trailer a bit.

On a side note, non-matching rims would drive me nuts!

Have to agree here...this boat's been in or around salt water. The missed matched wheels on the trailer are a bit of a red flag to me also.
