Just a reminder of some of the benefits of living in the south! Snow has officially started up here in Canada.

This is likely just an early dusting, so I’m always thankful for the self draining engines that will let me get a few more beautiful fall days on the water while many others are already tucked in for a long cold winter.

Oh boy, that makes me jelous! No doubt you have your share of bad weather, but though I love summers up here, I do spend the other 10 months looking for jobs south of the border haha!

But..... Yup, I'm in! No takebacks when she looses a toe to frostbite in a few months when the daytime high is -50 F though!

On the plus side I'm guessing you've got some AMAZING hunting up there!
And we've got great fishing and boating -- year round.

We may need to shop for just a little different clothes before we make it up there. Guessing my sandals may not be a wise choice. LOL

Haha that's the truth, hunting up here is second to none! But I'd be happy to fly in for a few weeks of hunting in exchange for year-round boating!

Fishing here is great, so long as huddling together in a 10 square foot but in the middle of a frozen wasteland is your thing haha! We are pretty stubborn it seems....

Sandals will be just fine, so long as you come visit in the summer, hot, dry and almost always sunny. Almost makes up for the rest of the year!
