Its been about 3 weeks now since I took delivery of and started the learning curve conversion from my previous Bayliner 185 sterndrive to the 2016 AR240. It has been a very enjoyable , educational experience. This forum and all it's contributors have been a tremendous resource. Thanks to all ! Now the big BUT ! I understand the 5-8 seconds of annoying alarm when I first power up by starting the engines. However, it seems to me that I should be able to turn on my radio or just monitor other Connext functions without going thru that each time ? Is there anyway to disable that alarm when simply pressing the light button to power on Connext ?
