Is there ANY chance someone makes these or am I going to have to buy a whole new plug? The button has disappeared since yesterday and can’t locate it anywhere.

I typically have water on top of my plugs, so should I be worried about it entering the plug and rusting it out? It still works fine by just pressing on the boot.

I can't imagine the water would be an issue. I don't think these are waterproofed (wouldn't that be a waste).

We have several folks with 3D printers; perhaps one would make one for you? Or just live without it, if it is working fine that way...

Anyone know if the button is in the rebuild kit? I don't expect so, but I have not purchased one yet...

I've bought rebuild kits before, the button was not included.

I have a friend with a 3d printer. I asked him if he could do it without a plan he said it depends. I have to send him a picture and see I guess.

I've never really looked at just the button... I wonder if your local hardware store has a knob that would fit? (I probably wouldn't even bother with a Home Depot or Lowes but start at a local Ace or Home...?)
If it came off, I'm guessing there's just a thread under it?
(Pretty sure everyone ends up with water on top - hit the brakes hard and when the wake catches up to you and ends up on the back deck = water on top of the plugs.)

I actually found them. JBP has a couple, actually saw on the Yamaha Facebook group that someone else has asked and Will said he had a few left...

there’s no thread under it, it just pushes down and clips in to the plug

As you learned rebuild kits don't really rebuild anything except the bottom half of the plug and the gasket. I would suggest you also add EZ locks to the plugs to be sure one does not blast out during normal operation. Cobra EZ-Locks

I already have EZ locks....
