I just received and broke in my 2016 212X. My question is: What's the easiest way to access the wiring behind the console? Unlike the 24 footers there's no storage access door on the starboard side. I bought a gps unit and I want to wire it in. Thanks

yeah, some of the spots are tough to get to, if its like my old 19' then the only option was through the bow storage unless you disassemble the steering area and access it that way.

I saw that there was a bit of room on the bow, but not much. Maybe I just have to remove panels from the dash individually.

If it's the same as mine...Reach under the bow storage area, and there are 2 wing nuts on the bottom of the backrest. Unscrew those, and pull the bottom out. Then lift the cushion straight up.

I left the wing nuts off, as that's where I installed my amp and can access quickly and easily.

That's what I needed. Thank you

Some people add a door on the starboard side to improve access and storage options.

I just looked it up in the FAQ's. Thanks Julian
