I had to remove my wakeboard rack because of my tower modification on my 2017 AR190

Does anyone out there that has done the tower modification have a photo or a video of a swivel wakeboard rack that stays on the tower when folded below the windshield?

Or, do the swivel racks mount to the smaller 1 7/8 inch rear tube?

Following... I am just looking into this as well...

When I had a 7’ door I had to remove it each time, however you only have to remove one bolt with the Yamaha rack.

Was your rack mounted to the front larger tube or the rear smaller tube?

I have it mounted to the rear tube.

Have you considered raising the garage door ?

No, just spent $9k on converting from two 8 foot wide garage doors to one single 17 foot wide garage door. Couldn't go higher with the door because of a support beam in the middle of the garage for a large room upstairs.

I want to move, my wife doesn't. So, I had the garage modified to fit the boat. Our compromise.

Another option is to use a caster when the tongue is folded. That will give you at least 4 inches. To put things in perspective I could not clear a 7 foot garage by 2 inches when I used a caster wheel. My boat is 7feet and 10 inches on the shore lander trailer

@swatski dont yours swingle inside ? I know your tower does not fold, but it seemed that the your racks swingle quite a bit.
