So i had my 2019 SX190 out for the first time today. I had taken it for a test drive with the dealer but of course when you test drive you dont notice many things.

At idle speed, like 1500 rpm while going through no wake zones, etc, it appeared the front of the boat was sitting pretty low considering there were 3 of us in the boat with no one up front. My guess was there was water somewhere.

When i pulled out the boat at eh end of the day everything was dry. I checked the anchor locker, the wakeboard locker, under all the seats and that hatch next to the cleanout plug. Everything was bone dry and clean. Nothing came out when i pulled the transom plugs either.

Is there any place water could accumulate at the front of the boat in the hull? But not come out anywhere else? I believe from the time i test drove the boat until i picked it out it was left uncovered. Not sure that matters.

Otherwise it was a pretty good day. The boat drove and handled well.

I never rode in a 190 but my 240 nose sits very low at no wake speeds.

190's sit low up front when not on plane. If you're at the ramp and inclined and not seeing water out the transom plugs then you don't have water trapped inside.

Thank you both. It was the only thing I could think of. At the ramp when i opened the plugs it was completely dry.

Mine is the same way. If there is anyone (even the 7yr old) in the bow seating, I can usually see some of the black portion of the hull sticking out of the water in the back. Same holds true for on plane. If you want top speeds and best handling, move all the weight you can to the back. Had 3 across the back, one in the helm, and one in the passenger seat with 2 kids on the tube last weekend. Best that boat has EVER handled. Steering was super sharp, had tons of "grip" with the water (both from pump loading standpoint, and from directional control standpoint).

My suspicion is that traditional design is done on the hull, and the weight of the engine is over estimated, leading to a more "nose down" attitude in the water.

Don't want to insult you, the 24's have multiple drain plugs, do the 19's, and if so, did you pull each one?

The bow will sit fairly low in the water when at rest or not moving very fast, but I also think it feels lower than it actually is. Nothing to worry about unless you are facing a large incoming wave, in which case just bring her up to 1o-15mph and that will bring the bow high. It's important to note in case you are ever speed restricted in wavy water. I've taken some water over the bow coming out of a no-wake zone as a cruiser came barreling in. I also had 6 adults in the boat, two of which were in the bow. They will also settle into the water a little bow heavy if you come off plane quickly and control will be squirly if weight distribution is not well balanced. These boats are just sensitive to weight distribution and you'll learn how to balance things out in short time. I typically won't have someone in the bow until I have at least two people (+captain) in the rear. Having some weight in the front of the boat will smooth out the ride in rough water though.

(Notice that the bow tapers downward slightly from the windshield towards the bow.)

Great to hear it is not my imagination. I don't think it would really be an issue once i get used to it. I boat mostly in the lakes and if we go to the keys or inner coastal usually i prefer my kids to sit in the back anyway.

Overall though the 2019 has a ton of space and the table is great and handled very well.

The 19's actually have one more plug than the 24's I think.

My 190 has these:
1-Ski Locker
1-Fuel Compartment
2-Transom

In addition, there is also engine compartment drain plug on my 2018 AR195.

you are ok as the nose die down when no speed or low speed, these boat are designed to go on plane speed and above, when at low speed it just like all high performance sport car, useless....., in my opinion !
