I have this post buried in an unrelated titled thread (https://jetboaters.net/threads/212x-is-finally-home-and-on-the-lift.5330) so thought I would post this new should anyone else be having issues and/or concerns with needing to drop your waketower on a more consistent basis then normal (lift canopy clearance, garage storage, etc).

This is my quick release design for lowering the tower, also the custom knob serves as a rest for the tower so that it stays off the rear seats. Not shown which I forgot to mention on the pics, I have a small adhesive bumper for the center section when rotated back. The process of lowering/raising the tower is about 10-15 seconds.

Did you buy the quick release pins? Or make them? Are you able to sell these? I would love to buy a set.
@Belleville_Boater are you still on the forum? I’d like to know what the specs are on the ball lock pins if you could share them or sell a set to me.

Does it still fit tight, or is there a lot of play? Great idea, I have 10' garage doors and just barely cannot fit with the tower up.
