Radio won’t turn on

2007 Yamaha at 230. Just bought it and can’t get radio to turn on. Checked switch,fuses unless there is one hiding?circuit breaker. Where should I go next? It’s a Sony drive s hu. Should I just replace it?

The circuit was tripped and had to push it in with a dowel. Still not working so there is power to the switch

I’m thinking it must be a power wire to the radio if your radio switch has power to it. If you plan on replacing it it may fix it but who knows.

I suspect you checked this but make sure your house battery is turned on.

What is house battery? This is a single battery not dual

Gotcha! Mine has a switch to turn the batteries (house and engines) on. Maybe you don’t have or need that.

Some head units have a fuse in the back of them....check for that.

Check that all wires are correctly connected to the battery. There may be 2 or 3 ground wires...

Is everything else working? Lights, horn?

Everything else is working the horn is not but it has power and makes a noise that probably needs to be replaced. I did check fuse in head unit and it was fine. All the wire to battery look good too
