Range Rover Sport

2016 Range Rover Sport w/tow package…weight limit is 7800 pounds. My FSH252Sport clocks in around 4700, plus 1400 for trailer, 600 for a full tank of gas and 300 of water, gear etc., putting it at around 7000 pounds. The trailer has breaks and the RR has a sand mode to help tires from slipping. It towed the AR210 no sweat. Has anyone else towed this much weight with this vehicle and/or what are you using to tow this size boat? Thank you.

I would go Denali over Escalade myself.

I bet the Range Rover would do OK. Close to the limit, but not over.

i towed my 242 once with my range rover sport, didnt like it, compared to my 6.2l raptor, but my friend tows hi 24 foot cabin cruiser with a RR sport 2.5 hrs every other weekend. it will tow it no problem i just didnt like the way it handled

It will be fine. Not ideal but it'll do.
