Got myself a little birthday present...

This guy is waiting to be mounted. Note the Navisafe light base 4200'ed to the top.

Also a Fusion MS-RA205 mounted under the dash, fully controlled through the touch screen. Stock stereo location is becoming a switch panel. I'm drooling over completely eliminating the stock gauges and adding another screen with a NMEA converter...

Beautiful!!!

I like it!

Wow, I am really feeling the need to copy you!

The dash was actually really easy, probably took me an hour with a dremel, jig saw and hole saw. Get one of these panels, http://www.amazon.com/Carbon-Fiber-sheet-gauge-panels/dp/B00LOCH6MI , trace the stock dash onto it, cut out with jig saw, and sand the edges. Then just cut holes for whatever you want to mount.

I'm going to make a panel that fits where the stock stereo goes very soon, and put in actual switches for all my upgrades. As of now I'm turning everything on/off by unscrewing the wires from my power bus bar.

About an hour on the lathe/mill after my aluminum showed up, and we have a nice polished radome mount :) Going up later today.

And mounted... might have to just wrap the power cable around the tower for now and fish down the 10-strand wire later, I'm about to die of heat stroke. No thick data cable needed, it's wifi :)

Ignore the flipped up solar panel, I had to get under it to mount the tower speaker.

The second MFD idea is out. I printed the mounting template for the smallest a65 version and there's no fitting it. A pair of these i70s might be nice though...

Pretty much all done, didn't think it would take all day but getting a stiff 18-10 wire up the tower was way more work than I expected.

Radar and FusionLink operating, mostly picking up tree branches surrounding the dome.

A shot of the MS-RA205 and the amp. Wiring is temporary, I'm going to rework the entire harness down there after I have the new switch panels in.

Lots of room for future expansion here. 5-way Seatalk-ng (aka nmea2000 with overpriced connectors) and 6-way nmea blocks.

Sorry. But that tower looks naked without a Satellite TV dome.

It looks great and that is some nice equipment! I'm am a little confused though.

Let's just say that half the upgrades on this boat were purchased during a long day of drinking on my friend's dock  Actually...the boat pretty much was too. It should come in handy for night boating though.
