Has anyone had any luck using the method outlined in the service manual to read fault codes with the info center? I get a check engine notification on startup, for both port and starboard engines, but following this method provides no "Fault Code" function to choose in the results. Am I doing something wrong? Is the manual missing a step? I have the engine running when performing these steps. Thank you!

I have not myself, but it was recommended to get the candoo to read codes and much more!
Scarab Mike put a topic on it here.
A friend has it and loves it.

I have the Candoo Pro. Works great. BRP now has one too.

Really, any more information on BRP unit

So it seems I have to suck it up and spend some money to get a proper code reader, darn. Haha.

If you want to make your life easier, yes. Either one is 400. The CanDoo Pro will do other engines besides BRP Rotax. I believe the BRP BUDS might read more info but cannot confirm that. Like I mentioned the CanDoo works great for me. @ScarabMike did a write-up on it. Explains how to use it.
