So I am about to purchase a bow and cockpit cover for the boat and I am guessing the snaps for the cockpit cover will still be and the base of the windshield, thereby covering the entire windshield with canvas.

If that is the case, what do you do with the mirror, take it off each time? Should I leave it on and leave a note for the canvas guy to build the canvas around the mirror?

Do you guys tow with the mirror installed?

You should be able to fold it, should have a clamp. I always fold mine down and clamp it (in the down position, below the windshield) for towing. I have that really big CIPA which I think is similar to yours.

I plan to fold mine down and then put a noodle over that area of the windshield to keep it from chasing the cover
