Does anyone have knowledge of what this adapter consists of internally? I am pretty good with electronics and just trying to understand what exactly it does and why new ones are so expensive. My guess is the price is just what they can get away with. I am putting a red stator and voltage regulator on a 1995/6 vintage xr120 replacing the original black stator and rectifier and it looks like I will need this adaptor.
