well I was starting to remove the hydroturf from the sx230 since I receive my sea dek feom Will at JBP !!

It's a complete nightmare LOL.

Anyone have a good suggestion of removing the left overs?

I talked with @bronze_10 and he said he had the same issues. Any help is much appreciated :)

Ice down the other mats before you remove them.

A pressure washer is likely the most efficient tool to remove what is left of the mats you have removed.

@chess feel you pain brother! x2 on pressure washer. I used acetone to finish it off. It sucks, but you will be blown away by how nice the seadeck feels on your feet and simple clean up.

X3 on the pressure washer. I picked one up for $100 at Harbor Freight just for this job. Well worth the money and end results. You can see how the pressure washer helped me. Just make sure you don't set the nozzle too strong (pointed). Also, for me, the pressure washer pushed the glue to the sides. I used Goof Off and a little more pressure washer and a rag.

Nice thanks guys at least I'm not to crazy then LOL...I guess I will be checking out borrowing my parents power washer :)

Your bringing back nightmares by even starting this thread from me lol. Mine was a big pia as well I probably spent 8-10 hours getting that junk off ugh.

Not to make you feel any worse but mine all pulled up in one piece!
Also I went the lazy way and had Underfoot Marine out of Moorsville NC put my Seadek down.
His name is Kelly. He did a wonderful job and had it down in just a few hours! I would highly recommend him to anyone. I will post pictures when I get a chance.

Another alternative that I used. Get the people that come out on the boat a lot, bring a case of beer and hand them a towel and acetone and tell them to get to work. It's their penance for all the free rides.

Installation is easy. @Rana and I installed ours in around an hour. It is easier with two people as one of you can hold the piece while the other peels and installs.

Ugh I wish we all were this lucky but I have heard a few with the same luck. I'm changing my Seadek story. The next person who asks how easy it was to take the hydroturf off I'm telling them I handed my 4 year old nephew a plastic putty knife and I went to the garage to grab a tool for me to work with and by the time I got back he had it all off and the glue even came up with the hydro turf.
