Hello everyone.
I’ve been wrestling with removing this small block from my Jolly Roger boat.
My question is, are there bolts or anything underneath that I cannot see? This bell housing won’t come off. The motor feels like it’s coming out, but isn’t. I’ve taken a pic to show the bell housing area
Thanks for any help

you may get more people who deal with that type jet boat on this site Jet Boat Garage

but that's a good looking boat, keep us updated on your progress,

What engine is it? Size and manufacturer, i.e Chevy 350, Ford 302, etc...

Update. Got it out. Thank you.

Sorry we weren't quick on it for ya!
I just saw this now, but the shaft is still in, I personally would pull that before messing with motor.
But perhaps you were caught on the lovejoy or bellhousing connection inside? Do tell!

Speedling,
I ended up pulling off the 4 bolts that held the spline around the U Joint and drive coming from the motor. Then I pried that forward and the motor slipped off. I didn't realize how deep the shaft was going in until I removed it. If I have to pull it again in the future, I'll know what I'm up against and this should go a lot quicker.
